A withdrawable element for electricity metering is a withdrawable functional block used in complete switchgears with a withdrawable element (for example, KYN28A-12). It combines current transformers (CTs), voltage transformers (VTs) and their protective fuses, as well as other components and is specifically designed for measurement, metering and protection in high-voltage power systems. Its main advantage is the modularity of the measurement function, the possibility of quick replacement and ease of maintenance: the cart can be easily rolled into the working position or rolled out into the control/isolated position for repairs, without the need to disconnect the main circuit, which greatly improves the reliability of power supply and the efficiency of operation and maintenance.
