GW9 outdoor high voltage isolation switch (commonly called "switch") is a single pole high voltage single pole device specially designed for 10kV distribution lines. Its main function is to safely open or close a circuit when no-load voltage is present, providing overhead lines with a clearly visible point of electrical isolation and ensuring equipment can be maintained safely.

The product has an extremely simple design consisting of a base, a high-strength ceramic insulator and a conductive blade disconnector. The main feature is the unique rod-lever control method: maintenance personnel can perform switching operations on and off the circuit breaker from the ground or from a support without direct contact with the device, using an insulating rod, which is safe and convenient.

The GW9 circuit breaker has a compact structure and light weight, and can be directly mounted on the pole crossbar, saving space and reducing costs. High-strength ceramic insulator effectively withstands adverse weather conditions. Once opened, a clear air gap is formed, providing visible safety when working on the line. With simple structure, cost-effectiveness, convenient operation and high adaptability, GW9 series has become one of the most widely used isolating devices in 10kV distribution networks in rural and urban areas.
