The plastic case residual current device is an intelligent low voltage distribution device that integrates the functions of overload protection, short circuit protection and leakage protection. It uses a high-strength engineering plastic housing with excellent insulation and mechanical strength, and is specially designed to protect low-voltage lines, equipment and personal safety.
The basic principle of operation is to continuously monitor the vector sum of currents in the line using a built-in zero-sequence current transformer. When a current leak occurs or a person is injured by an electric shock, part of the current flows along an abnormal path, as a result of which the vector sum of the currents is no longer equal to zero (differential current occurs), and the device can automatically turn off the power in a very short time (≤0.1 second), effectively preventing electrical fires and electric shock. At the same time, its built-in thermomagnetic release is capable of reliably switching off overload and short-circuit currents.
This product has high breaking capacity, high protection accuracy, good stability and long service life, supports A-type or AC-type leakage protection, can adapt to different rated currents and differential operating currents (such as 30mA, 100mA, 300mA), widely used in terminal distribution circuits in civil buildings, industrial distribution networks, commercial facilities, infrastructure and etc., being an indispensable means of protection in modern low-voltage distribution systems.
